A resident of Patliputra Colony Neetu graduated from the Notre Dame Academy Patna in 1997 and dreamt of entering the modelling world. Neetus father a businessman was initially reluctant to let her pursue a career in showbiz but her mother Neera stood by her.Since then she has done campaigns for Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry and Fiat Palio.Her first acting role was in Aditya Chopras Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi which was a huge success. She currently has a contract to do two more movies with Yash Raj Films but is free to do films outside YRF to further her career if she wishes and has signed to do a movie with Shahid Kapoor in another Yash Raj Film to be directed by Parmeet Sethi.
